In our Thursday meeting last week, 3019-09, we discussed ways of using the free YAAB program to bring add relevant content automatically to your blogs. Here are a couple of links that will help you find article directories which allow their RSS feeds to inport whole articles and not just sniplets.

This first link is fram an article directory that is set up especially to give you full articles from the RSS Feeds.

By default Wordpress adds “nofollow tags” to all the links in yur blog. The purpose of these tags is to keep search engines from following links from your blog to other sites which can delute the ranking of your blog with the search engines.

However the problem with this is that to gain back linkks from your
blog to help build your blog ranking you need people to post comments to your blog which helps to add good unique content. But other bloggers will normally not leave content to blogs with the nofolow in effect.

To alter this you can add a plug in which will remove the nofollow tags and thus encourage other bloggers to comment on your blog. this video will show you how to do this.

There are many ways to monitize your blog to earn income. The
eBay affilliate program known as EPN–eBay Partner Network– is
a favorite among many affiliates.

A number of programs are available which make it simple to add
eBay ads to your blog. Two such plugins are PHPBay and Bayrss. There is a free and a paid version of both. (Note: The free version of BayRSS may no longer be available so you will have to do a Google search for the free version to see if it is still available. The free version of PHPBay is still available).

There are times when setting a blog up to have a static front page, in other words a page that shows each time someone visits the blog, can be preferable. You may want your blog to look more like a website. Or you might have information on the front page that you would like visitors to see first when they visit your blog.
